Philippine Airlines- While the country is on State of Calamity, the government has set the entire Luzon into Enhanced Community Quarantine due to the COVID-19 health crisis. In relation to this, there are a number of flight restrictions that airlines need to follow so to contain the virus. Refer to these latest advisories from PAL and those passengers who have booked tickets already with the airline should take note of these flight cancellations and updates.

In response to the COVID-19 situation, the health authorities of the following countries have added strict new requirements for entry of travelers:
Effective MARCH 16, 2020 at 11:59PM, all travelers from the Philippines and other ASEAN countries will be given a stay-home notice (self-quarantine) for 14 days upon arrival. This applies to Singapore residents, long-term pass holders and short-term visitors.
All passengers of all nationalities, except for returning Malaysian residents, are not allowed to enter Malaysia from MARCH 18 to 31, 2020. Returning Malaysian residents are advised to go through health checks and to complete a self-isolation period (self-quarantine) for 14 days upon arrival.
All nationalities (except Canadian citizens, their immediate family members, permanent residents and American citizens) will not be allowed to enter Canada starting from March 18, 2020 at 12:01 AM EDT (12:01 PM Philippine time). Canadian citizens, permanent residents and American citizens will be advised to self-isolate (self quarantine) upon arrival after undergoing enhanced health screening at the border control. They may enter only through four gateways, namely the airports of Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary and Montreal.
All passengers traveling from ASEAN countries (e.g. the Philippines) will be required to undergo 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Vietnam.

We wish to appeal to our dear PAL passengers NOT to proceed to the airport terminals or the PAL Ticket Office for your ticketing and transaction needs during this time of heightened concern over COVID-19, except for passengers with urgent travel. (Only international flights are operating at this time.)
PAL has closed our ticket offices in the Metro Manila area in line with the enhanced community quarantine.
While our Ticket Office at NAIA Terminal 2 (T2) remains open to serve the most urgent transaction needs, visiting the T2 Ticket Office for other transactions is highly discouraged in the interest of public health and safety. We are unable to fully accommodate the very high volume of requests related to thousands of cancelled flights over a four-week period, reportedly the largest mass cancellation ever to affect the entire Philippine aviation industry. Public transportation and other quarantine-related constraints make it challenging to provide full staffing at the airport and Ticket Office, and indeed we appreciate the dedication of our staff who do their best to care for our customers despite those challenges.
You may use our PAL hotline (02) 88558888 for your transaction needs (rebooking, rerouting etc.). However we have also been experiencing a surge in the volume of calls. Please consider deferring rebookings and other transactions until after the lifting of the quarantine period on April 12.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please bear with us as we work to deal with this truly unprecedented challenge.
