Detailed Promo Mechanics:


The PAL Katy Perry Concert Online Promo (referred to as “Promo”) will run from October 28, 2009 to November 9, 2009 (“Promo Period”). Only tickets purchased within the promo period are qualified to join.

The Promo is open to all customers who are successful in booking flights worth at least Php3,000 (before tax) and pay online via credit card or BancNet ATM card at Employees of Philippine Airlines, its advertising/PR agencies, and its accredited service providers including their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the Promo.

The Promo is an online raffle where customers who are successful in booking a flight with Philippine Airlines online are invited to post on PAL’s official Facebook Fan page wall “The best thing about flying to is _____”. For the posts to qualify as a valid entry, customers who post on the PAL Facebook fan page wall should also forward the itinerary receipt (e-ticket) that they received from Philippine Airlines to together with the link to their personal Facebook account.

Philippine Airlines will confirm the validity of the ticket. A verification email message will be sent, telling the user that his/her wall post is a qualified entry. Failure to agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth in the mechanics shall disqualify the raffleant from joining the raffle.

Once qualified, the raffleant can no longer change or edit his/her entry. One post is considered one entry. A raffleant may submit more than one entry but he/she can only win once.

Mabuhay Miles golf underway Friday

GEN. TRIAS, CAVITE – Philippine Airlines president Jaime J. Bautista leads a powerhouse field of over 300 golfers, all company chief executives, top professionals, and captains of business and industry, when the 2009 Mabuhay Miles Elite Invitational gets underway Friday (Nov. 6) at the Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club here.

Bautista will hit the ceremonial tee at 7:30 a.m., setting off the shotgun tee-off across Eagle Ridge’s three championship courses in play for the tournament.

Competition will be in four divisions for the men plus the ladies division. Class A and the ladies play at the Dye course, Classes B and D tour the Faldo course while Class C tackles the Norman course.

The 18-hole event – an annual gathering of Elite, Premier Elite and Million Miler members of Mabuhay Miles, PAL’s popular frequent flyer program – will be played under the System 36 handicapping format.
